Slayer have given Kerrang! a unique insight into their new album "Diabolus in Musica" - their first LP of allnew material in nearly four years. The record sees the band reverting to the more experimental nature of their classic "South of Heaven" album, while retaining their trademark heaviness. .As for that bizarre LP title, it apparently refers to the darkest, most sinister chord music. "Diabolus in Musica" was produced by Rick Rubin, and it will be the first release under new distribution agreements between Rubinīs American Recordings .and BMG in the UK and Columbia Records in the US; ironically, Columbia are the label that rejected Slayerīs 1986 album "Reign in Blood" over .the lyrics to the controversial song "Angel of Death". Bassist/singer Tom Araya and guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman gave Kerrang! an exclusive track-by-track guide to their long .awaited comeback LP:
