Welcome to this section which features some artwork made by me (Jenny) and also some work made by Polly,
a friend and a major Tori fan. It will include both drawings and
paintings. Right now, I have one experimental computer drawing called Sister Janet. Painting with computers is not my favourite way of working, but I thought I'd give it a go. The second drawing, From in the Shadow, has been drawed with pen, pencil, aquarel pencils and wax oil.
Sister Janet The next two drawings I got from Dave Woodson. Silent All These Years; Media: Pencil Comments: This is based on the famous piece "Hand With Reflecting Sphere" by M.C. Escher. It is intended to symbolize the process of introspection and self-discovery that led Tori to the creation of Little Earthquakes. It can also represent the connection with Tori that all Toriphiles feel. From the viewers POV, they see Tori in their own reflection. Little SD Earthquakes; Media: Pencil, Ink, Colored Pencil Comments: This is a variant of the Little Earthquakes cover photo by Cindy Palmano done in a Japanese anime and manga style known as SD (super deformed) The next drawing is a nice and colourful one made by Samara. Check it out!
This is a beautiful watercolour sketch of Tori!
