Hi everybody. I haven't got very much to say this month ! Just 2 items, I must say that I did not had the time to compile a full issue this time. So the new Andy items I have found (Tim rose/Blop records/2 copies of Strings of desire) will go to next month.

STING AND KENNEDY ROSE
----------------------

It took me 4 years that I finally realised that Sting and Kennedy Rose performed together on one album. Ofcourse we all remember that they were Sting's support act on the Soul Cages tour back in 1991. Then they released two albums on Sting's Pangaea label, one in 1991 and one in 1994.

Finally after a search of 7 months (this album is difficult to get) I foun:

* Kennedy Rose - "Walk the line"(1994),
bass on "Island home" Pangaea 07777130224

KING OF PAIN REMIX

Is it ? Or is it not Police ! That is my first question when I receive remix albums or 12" singles. Mostly its just a singer trying to copy Sting.

Hani is "well known" for his remix of "Sister Moon". He also made another club remix of "King of pain". I'm not sure if we can call this a bootleg cause mostly these people are permitted to do this, records are always very limeted pressed, so if you want one.... now is the time !

/ Brown Acid Remix (8.07) / Tough tranced out vocal mix (8.54) / Original intro mix (1.14) - USA 12" promo Hani remixes, White Records WR 0012, white label, King of pain is printed on label.
/ Brown Acid Remix (7.17), plus 3 non Police remixes - UK 12" white label / White Swan Records

The second 12" single was made in the UK, thisone only has an edit version of the Brown acid remix.

Last but not least, the rumour right now is that on the new greatest hits album there will be another remix from the boys. THIS IS JUST A RUMOUR, Andy, Stewart and Sting met each other during the week that Sting was in L.A. for the Grammy's. Stewart and Andy had some extra time cause their tour was just cancelled and the had booked a reheasel room for that. I think we have to wait till that "new" thing comes out to see what they have done.
