This is the part of the page where other people can express their disgust towards my music. These are reviews that I have gotten from people who have heard my tape. Some are dear friends, some are people that have just listened to my tape.
I'm still looking for more reviews... I don't care if you think it sucked or if you loved it so much you fried your tape deck listening to my crap... If you have hear the tape and have opinions about it, send them in!

Hey. I got your tape yesterday. You rawk. I just kinda decided to tell you what i thought:
Mcis-this sounds really pretty. I like it a lot.
Zero-wow. You have an awesome voice. This song rawks.
Go ask june-i can't exactly understand what you're saying in this song,
but it rawks anyhow. Very screamy, angry, etc.
Claudia is dead-i like this song a lot. It rawks, but kind of quietly,
if you know what i mean.
Balcony girl-i like this song. It's pretty kewl.
Galapogos-wow. This song rawks in a soft way.
*what did you say when you said, "please forgive me, father. I meant no
harm in being born."?*
wrapper-kewl song. Full of angst. Exactly what is nihilism? Couldn't
understand exactly what you were saying in it. heard something about
rain.
Dancing in the moonlight-good song. Kind of mellow. Kind of melancholy.
Good depression song. Kewl riff near the end.
Misery and happiness-another mellow one. kewl. Rawks quietly.
Hmm...conflicting emotions...
beautiful-wow. This sounds amazingly like the original. I like it when
you pause and then come back in at the end.
Quite withdrawn-hmm...quite interesting. Very good.
Pennies-you're right. Simple yet beautiful. Very obscure indeed. Quite
lovely, actually. Seems to be about love, a very simple yet complex
emotion. I can relate to this one, too. Kind about of obsession.
Stumbleine-very pumpkin-esque. Wonderful job of imitating billy. Very
soft, gentle relaxed. I really like this song. Very emotional and
loving.
Blew-soft. Gentle. I love it. almost sad. I feel like crying. Oh, well,
now i am.
*i like the stuff about the fortress of pain, cuz that's how i feel
right now.*
jupiter's lament-i like this song too. This rawks quietly. It's almost
happy, if you know what i mean.
Well, congratulations for making it all the way through that. Kewl
tape. Fell asleep last night listening to it (and i only usually do
that with the pumpkins). Well, if i knew where you were, i'd send you
warm fuzzies. Bye. Meg.

Your tape came today, thank you sooooo much, that was a really short wait!?!
Here are my thoughts and stuff:
Go Ask June was really good, l liked the bit about half way through when your talking through the music. l like your tape player stuff like in the aeroplane flies high, l remember you posting something about that on listessa.
Claudia Is dead is SO good! l guess it was a sad time for you but feeling really made it good and more from the heart and special.
l love your Galapogos - really relaxing!
Wrapper, l really enjoyed this, it really hit me. l love it!!! lt sounded so familiar, really funky!
Dancing in the Moonlight is my all time favorite and your cover was so much like the real thing. l thought my CD had slipped on! You sounded just like Billy! Fucking hell this song is amazing!!! There's just something about it!!! WOW!!
Quite withdrawn - l love this one!!!
Beautiful is, has been and always will be one of my favorites. l could hear so many different sounds in this one it was....beautiful, there's no other word! l always end up saying that about this song! Not hard to see why!
Pennies is my favorite from the (Smashing Pumpkins') Zero single, along with Zero itself! l love this lively little tune and the words are really so meaningful to me!
Stumbleine - you are Billy!
l love Blew, it kind of melted over me and l just slipped away.....Heaven! : )
l especially liked the way you put your little meaningful messages between songs.
l love your Jupiter's Lament - this is my favorite off (Smashing Pumpkins') Tonight, Tonight single as well. This is true, l'm not just saying it, you've made a very good choice.
l wrote all these thoughts while listening to the tape.
l liked you comment on becoming priesident.
You are really good at singing.
Thanks again,
love Madelaine; )

I got your demo tape today (4/26/97) and, man, this some GREAT work.
Your covers of the Pupmkins were great and your work rawks! They were all great, and these are the ones that stand out:
Go Ask June- This has a neat sound to it.
Claudia is Dead- This song will be in my head for a while. It's just too cool.
Blew- VERY cool.
I'd love to hear your future (and past) work! You're going to be big one day, I know it.

alrite, so i was listening to your tape... and it was just
like.... wow. i especially liked "claudia is dead,"
although i'm still listening and i'm just about to the
middle of "quite withdrawn," i think [i've yet to hear the
rest, so, y'know]. I have to say i quite enjoy your voice,
even if you don't = )
