If you haven't heard it check out Booth & the Bad Angel...Angelo Badalamenti's (wrote original Twin Peaks song for Moby's "Go" cover) composing style gives an entirely new dynamic to Tim Booth's lyrics and voice. Bernard Butler from Suede also plays guit r. It's like discovering your favorite band all over again. Lots of love songs.

Help! I'm yet another person who doesn't know any other James fans (!). Sad but honest. I've been a big fan since 1992... seen them 10 times live. I'd really like to hear from James fans everywhere... especially in the UK, USA, and Germany.

I don't know if I should be depressed or not, but it looks like I must be the oldest James fan on this site. The only thing I can say, is that over the years James and Tim Booth in particular are the only group that have come anywhere near,in my eyes, to he Beatles and John Lennon,( my all time hero, to coin a corny phrase) and for all you " young" fans,that don't understand us " old timers ", lets just say I don't think theres a bigger compliment that I, personally, could pay the band. I'm too romantic about James. I do loads of clubbing and all that, do my fair share of illegal substances and prefer to be off my head to drum&bass and trance, but I always end up back with a James CD when I need to mellow myself out. Good when you're p ssed and emotional!!!

Since first hearing James ages ago, ala Sit Down, Come Home, etc, I have always felt that there was a truth in Tim Booth's lyrics and songs, a sort of integrity. Meaning for want of a better word. Some times in certain situations you feel as if the lyrics have been written for you and the situation you are in. Silly, but there you go. So Tim if you ever look at these pages, it's the fans that count, sod the press, what do they know anyway. It's when the fans desert you or performing and singing is no longe fun that you know it is time to do something else, buy hopefully not yet. Hope you are all well; for everyone this bit, the Guildford '99 gig was ace, excellent live, everyone sat down, as we were told. A great end to a great day. Can't wait till the UK our in December and also the release of the album later this year. If anyone is going to Brighton, the NEC or London let me know. Especially the NEC, then we could share travelling costs. All the best, to all. Pete.
