It was said in the NME this week that reports have been heard that Luren is in the running for the position of Big Breakfast co-presenter. After Cnannel Four offered her the job.
Denise Van-Outen will be leaving at Christmas and rumour has it that Luaren is in the running along with Melinda Messinger, Jenny McCarthy and Davina Taylor (Jude from Hollyoaks).Lauren said she had not made her mind up about this offer and apparently many others she's got since the end of Kenickie
"It's all proper telly work. The thing is, I just don't know if I want to be famous or not."
Let's wait and see, eh.
Lauren and Pete have formed a new band by the name of Chris. The band also includes Dj Downfall and an old member of Dweeb. Their first release is reported to be on a french label.

Emmy and Marie are to be on XFM on 22/11/98 @ 6pm. They will be o the x-rated review show with Claire Sturges, talking about the split and reviewing records.
Kenickie are to star in a 1hr tv special shooting soon and to be shown before christmas. But only in the Tyne Tees tv region. If anyone wants to tape this for me, I'd love them.
Kenickie are to be supported by thier dear friends Spraydog on their upcoming tour. Although lucky punters at the Norwich and Northampton gigs will get to see Pete drum for Spraydog. Instead of their normal drummer Spanners. A frequenter to some message boards.
Lauren Laverne is to launch her own t.v show on the new digital channel BBC Choice. It will somehow involve the alphabet and be on weekend mornings starting in October. It may also contain comedy sketches. Class or what?
