Easy to play too, just three chords. The chord progression through the whole song is 'Bm* Asus2 E' and it sounds good to throw in some Esus4 (022200) into the E at the end. The lead guitar is very cool too. I tabbed out the most important bits of the lead guitar, but some things are repeated *slightly* different and I couldn't be bothered to tab it all out. This song sounds best with one acoustic guitar gently strumming the chords and one electric guitar playing the lead with lots of reverb. I did this tab in a bit of a hurry so if you find any mistakes please let me know. There's a cover version of this song now by a band called "HIM" and it SUCKS!!! Go with the original, it's much better! \ = slide down / = slide up D = dive down with whammy bar INTRO: ------ Bm* Asus2 E Bm* Asus2 E E|------------------------------------------------------------| B|--0---7--------7\--0------0---7--------5-3--2-0-------------| G|--------------------------------------6--------------2---1--| D|-------------------------------------7-------------4---2----| A|------------------------------------------------------------| E|------------------------------------------------------------| D D | | These D's mean if you have a whammy bar on your guitar, dive down a bit on these notes. I can't tab it any better than that. Then comes the part that's used many times in the song, we'll call it RIFF 1. RIFF 1: [play twice] Bm* Asus2 E E|----2------0-------------------------------------------| B|------3------3-----2-------0---------------------------| G|--4----(4)----(4)----4-------4-----2----1-----1-2-2/4--| D|----------------------(4)-----(4)-----2-----2----------| A|-------------------------------------------------------| E|-------------------------------------------------------| The notes in parantheses () are notes that he probably doesn't play but I usually play them anyway because I think they sound good. Try it with and without the notes in () and see which one you like better. Oh, and the lead guitar should have some heavy reverb on it. In the verses there are two fills that are often used: FILL 1: FILL 2: E|--------------| E|--------------| B|--------------| B|--------------| G|----2---1-----| G|----1-2-2/4---| D|--4---2-------| D|--2-----------| A|--------------| A|--------------| E|--------------| E|--------------| VERSE 1: -------- Bm* Asus2 E The world was on fire and no one could save me but you Bm* Asus2 E [FILL 1] It's strange what desire will make foolish people do Bm* Asus2 E [FILL 1] I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you Bm* Asus2 E [FILL 2] and I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you In the first two lines of the CHORUS, you can faintly hear the lead guitar playing something like this: Bm Asus2 E E|-----0-----0--------------0---------------------| B|-------3-----3------0-------0-----0-------------| G|---------4-----4------2----------------1-2-2/4--| D|---4--------------2-----------------------------| A|------------------------------------------------| E|------------------------------------------------| CHORUS: [play first 2 lines with tab above] ------- Bm* Asus2 E No I don't wanna fall in love Bm* Asus2 E No I don't wanna fall in love [play RIFF 1] With you [play RIFF 1] With you VERSE 2: [play like VERSE 1] -------- What a wicked game to play, to make me feel this way What a wicked thing to do, to let me dream of you What a wicked thing to say, you never felt this way What a wicked thing to do, to make me dream of you and CHORUS: [play first 2 lines with same tab as first CHORUS] ------- Bm* Asus2 E I don't wanna fall in love Bm* Asus2 E No I don't wanna fall in love [play TAB below] With you Bm* Asus2 E Bm* Asus2 E E|-----------------------------------------------------------| B|----0---7---------0------0---7--------5-3--2-0-------------| G|-------------------------------------6--------------2---1--| D|------------------------------------7-------------4---2----| A|-----------------------------------------------------------| E|-----------------------------------------------------------| D D | | These D's mean if you have a whammy bar on your guitar, dive down a bit on these notes.
