I usually don't like R & B music at all, but this song is just great! Especially the bridge part. There actually isn't any guitar in this song, except for the guitar solo, but I just listened to the bassline and these are the chords for the song. It sounds great. This is in kind of a strange key. All the chords are # or b something. If you want to play it with easier chords you can just transpose it up one note (or tune your guitar down one note) and play it in the key of G. If you do that the chords for the intro and verses would be 'Am G' and the chords for the chorus, bridge and outro would be 'Bm Em Am Em Bm Am C Em'. Then you can play it with first position chords, but I don't recommend it. I think it sounds better with barred chords and if you're playing barred chords it doesn't matter if they're #'s and b's. Well, enough with the bullshit, here comes the song: INTRO: ------ G#m F# G#m F# [sing 'yo yo' a few times. It's kind of pointless to try to write exactly how many times you say it ;)] VERSE 1: -------- G#m F# It could all be so simple G#m F# But you rather make it hard G#m F# Loving you is like a battle G#m F# And we both end up with scars G#m F# Tell me who I have to be G#m F# To get some reciprocity G#m F# See no one loves you more than me G#m F# And no one ever will VERSE 2: [play like verse 1] -------- Is this just a a silly game? That forces you to act this way Forces you to scream my name Then pretend that you can't stay Tell me who I have to be To get some reciprocity See no one loves you more than me And no one ever will CHORUS: ------- Bbm No matter how I think we grow Ebm You always seem to let me know G#m It ain't working (it ain't working) Ebm (it ain't working) Bbm And when I try to walk away (Am) G#m You hurt yourself to make me stay B This is crazy [about the Am chord that's in (). It's Ebm really just a transition chord. When the This is crazy bass is going down from Bb to G# he just goes through the A. You don't have to play it, but it sounds good to me, and the bass plays it so...] VERSE 3: [play like verses 1 & 2] -------- I keep letting you back in How can I explain myself As painful as this thing has been I just can't be with no one else See I know what, we've got to do You let go, and I'll let go too 'cause no one's hurt me more than you And no one ever will CHORUS: [play like previous chorus] ------- No matter how I think we grow You always seem to let me know It ain't working It ain't working And when I try to walk away You hurt yourself to make me stay This is crazy This is crazy BRIDGE: ------- Bbm Care for me, care for me, I know you care for me Ebm There for me, there for me, Said you'd be there for me G#m Cry for me, cry for me, you said you'd die for me Ebm Give to me, give to me, why won't you live for me Bbm (Am) Care for me, care for me, you said you'd care for me G#m There for me, there for me, said you'd be there for me B Cry for me, cry for me, you said you'd die for me Ebm Give to me, give to me, why won't you live for me [play like above] Care for me, care for me, you said you'd care for me There for me, there for me, said you'd be there for me Cry for me, cry for me, you said you'd die for me Give to me, give to me, why won't you live for me Care for me, care for me, you said you'd care for me There for me, there for me, said you'd be there for me Give to me, give to me, why won't you live for me Cry for me, cry for me, you said you'd die for me Bbm (Caaaaaaaaaaaaare) Ebm (Theeeeeeeeeeeere) G#m (Cryyyyyyyyyyyyyy) Where were you Ebm (Giiiiiiiiiiiiive) when I needed you Bbm (Am) (Caaaaaaaaaaaaare) G#m (Theeeeeeeeeeeere) B (Cryyyyyyyyyyyyyy) Ebm (Giiiiiiiiiiiiive) GUITAR-SOLO: ------------ [I'm not gonna transcribe the solo.
