As I've told before, Linda Lewis and Jim Cregan were
married for a while. A very talented singer who collaborated with artists
such as Cat Stevens, Pete Bardens (from Camel), Elton John, David Bowie,
Chris Spedding, and many other artists, such as Streetwalkers and Hummingbird.
On Lark, the list of musicians includes

Chapman Whitney Streetwalkers (May 74, Reprise)
Ex-Family members Roger Chapman and Charlie Whitney
put together a new project: Streetwalkers. The original idea was to keep
the band as a duo (Chapman and Whitney). They recorded the first album,
Chapman Whitney Streetwalkers, with several former companions
in Family: John Wetton (bass, then in King Crimson, and later in Uriah
Heep and many others great bands), Ric Grech, Jim Cregan, Poli Palmer,
as well as Boz Burrell, Ian Wallace & Michael Giles (all from King
Crimson), Tim Hinkley, Neil Hubbard and Max Middleton, etc.

Hobo with a grin was the first solo
album by Steve Harley, after dissolving Cockney Rebel. It features lots
of musicians: Marc Bolan (guitar), Jim Cregan (guitar, vocals), Ian Bairnson
(guitar), Tom Moncrieff (guitar), Jo Partridge (guitar), Greg Poree (guitar),
Fred Tackett (guitar), George Ford (bass), Herbie Flowers (bass), Bob Glaub
(bass), Alan Jones (bass), Reggie McBride (bass), Duncan Mackay (keyboards),
Billy Payne (keyboards), Lindsey Elliott (percussion), Chris Karan (percussion),
Louis Jardim (percussion), Simon Morton (percussion), Stuart Elliott (drums),
Ricky Fataar (drums), Paul Humphrey (drums), James Isaacson (drums), Rick
Schlosser (drums), and vocals by Rosemary Butler, Bill Champlin, Gloria

Steve Harley recorded a comeback album, Yes
you can, with some of his old bandmates: Jim Cregan (guitar), Duncan
Mackay (keyboards) and Stuart Elliott (drums). It was produced by Mickie
Most and Steve Harley.

Julie Driscoll
Wonderful vocalist, she'll have her own pages in my
Olympus someday. This was her debut solo album, backed by the whole lineup
of Blossom Toes: Brian Godding (he was Julie Driscoll's brother-in-law)
and Jim Cregan on guitar, Brian Belshaw on bass and Barry Reeves on drums.
Also featured in the album: Chris Spedding (guitar), Jeff Clyne (bass),
Karl Jenkins, Keith Tippett (keyboards), Mark Charig (trumpet), Bud Parker
(trumpet), Bob Downes (flute), Elton Dean (sax), Nick Evans (trombone),

A very fine singer, he sang lead in one of the roles
for Jesus Christ Superstar. He has featured a quiet career, being his biggest
hit the fantastic song 'Say it ain't so, Joe, featured in this album.

Glass Tiger were a Canadian band formed around 1984.
They used to have great guests in their albums. This was the band lineup:

(guitar), Tim Pierce (guitar), Gary Herbig (sax), Alex Acuna (percussion),
Tony Thompson (drums), John Keane (drums), Mark Free (vocals), Tommy Funderbunk
(vocals), Tom Kelly (vocals), Paul Rafferty (vocals), Rod Stewart (vocals),
and the great Jeff Scott Soto (vocals). The album was co-produced by Jim
Vallance (who also plays keyboards and drums) and Tom Werman. The band
disbanded soon after this release.
Jim Cregan is also featured in a later compilation,
The best of Glass Tiger: air time, that contains two unreleased
tracks.
Alan Frew
Alan Frew was the lead singer in Glass Tiger. This
was his first solo album, and Jim Cregan plays again with him. Also featured

David Essex
Born David Albert Cook, singer and actor (notable
movies are "That'll be the day" and "Stardust"), he later
took the role of Che Guevara in Evita. This album is full
of covers by another artists, as the title seemed to appoint. There are
songs from Rolling Stones, America, Them, Lovin' Spoonful, Cyndi Lauper,
The Kinks, Cat Stevens, Box Tops and Bee Gees. The album is produced by

her long career. This one was produced by Jim Cregan (who also plays guitar),
and it features veteran Chet Atkins (guitar), Willie Nelson, Willie Weeks

with several bonus tracks.
