This was first Bobby Harrison solo album, recorded with some great names in rock: Tony Iommi (guitar, from Black Sabbath), Ian Paice (drums, from Deep
Purple (drums), Colin Gibson (bass), etc.
Alan Hull

He was one of the leaders in Lindisfarne. Both Alan and Colin Gibson had been members of The Chosen Few.
Pipedream is Alan Hull's first solo album. Featuring many friends: John Turnbull (guitar), Colin Gibson (bass), Kenny Craddock (keyboards),
Ray Jackson (harp, mandolin, vocals), Ray Laidlaw (drums), Dave Brooks (sax).
Most of the same musicians are featured on Squire: Albert Lee (vocals), Kenny Craddock (keyboards, guitar), Ray Jackson (harp, mandolin, vocals),
Jean Roussel (keyboards), Ray Laidlaw (drums), Jo Newman (backing vocals), and the almost complete Snafu lineup: Micky Moody (guitar), Colin Gibson (bass),
Brian Chatton (keyboards), Terry Popple (drums).
Phantoms features: Pete Kirtley (guitar), Colin Gibson (bass), Kenny Craddock (keyboards, guitar), Ray Laidlaw (drums), Bud Beadle (horns),
Steve Gregory (horns), and backing vocals by Rab Noakes, Lesley Duncan, Joanna Newman, Liza Strike. Some of the songs are really from his band Radiator.
Lindisfarne
- Roll on, Ruby (Dec 73, Charisma)
First thing: Colin Gibson doesn't play here, but I include it because there are 3 songs co-written by Colin. This was the first album by re-formed
Lindisfarne in 1973. The lineup for the band was:
The album features orchestral arrangements by Max Middleton. Colin Gibson co-writes 3 songs with mate Kenny Craddock ('Nobody loves you anymore',
'Roll on river', and 'Tow the line').
Alan White
- Ramshackled (1976, Atlantic)
When Alan White decided doing a solo album, he called many of his past bandmates: Alan Marshall (vocals), Pete Kirtley (guitar), Colin Gibson (bass),
Kenny Craddock (keyboards), Bud Beadle (sax), Steve Gregory (sax, flute), plus Henry Lowther (trumpet) and Andy Phillips (steel drums). Also appearing in
one song his bandmates from Yes: Jon Anderson (vocals) and Steve Howe (guitar). Backing vocals by Madeline Bell, Vicky Brown and Joanne Williams.
By the way, 5 of the 9 tracks are co-written by Colin.

Alvin Lee

Alvin Lee was the superb guitarist and singer in the fantastic Ten Years After. When the band first dissolved, he formed his own band under the name Alvin & Co., with great musicians:

colleagues from Blodwyn Pig: Jack Lancaster and Ron Berg.

Mickey Jupp / Legend

British singer and songwriter, Mickey Jupp started his career in The Orioles. He has written songs for Dr. Feelgood, Nick Lowe, Gary Brooker,
Elkie Brooks, The Searchers and Roger Chapman, among others. Around 1969, he formed the band Legend, until 1972. In 1978, it was released a Legend compilation, credited
to his name, including some solo tracks, featuring Tim Renwick (Tim played in a single from 1977, produced by Pete Solley).
