Krazy Your day sounds just jolly. However, I felt Spike's pain when he was confined. And of course, nothing would top his standing up and beating the crap out of the chair. I mean, priceless, baby. However, I understand his needing to have Buffy. If he fought Angelus on his own, he might wind up hurting Dru more than he intended because of a mind too busy with fighting(it makes sense, but I don't)..

Avarice: Of course it's conjecture. That's what all our posts are (even yours). :o) The sword was a key. Kendra bought the sword and even mentioned that it was blessed by the Knight who slew Acathla the first time. Angelus used the sword that was in Acathla and Buffy used the sword Kendra bought with her. The blessed sword was a key to closing the vortex.

Brad: What? Is Angle supposed to walk around oogling over 90 year old women and carrying a cane just because it's expected at that age (and even they would be too young)? The man has the body and physical presence of a 20ish man- he has seen some years come and go- but the point is -and I think it's a little sad- they have not shaped him- he never watched his wild children aid the greying of his hair, he never grew frustrated that his eye sight just wasn't what it used to be, he never saw his children's children grow into young adulthood. Giles has seen these things- but his children were the slayers he trained and that has made all the difference.

Hello Seth! I named my goldfish after your char. We have Oz, Willow, Buffy and Angel the goldfish swimming in our backyard pond. Not the most flattering of statements for you, of course, but I have nothing even remotely intellegent to say at the moment. But I love the show, and I love you in it. My cousin and I both agree Seth=Cool. Total definition of cool you are. OK, I'd better go back into lurk where I belong, since no one (cept Lothos) on this board knows me.

I totally agree. The relationship that Buffy and Angel had is over. They will never again feel the same about each other after Jenny's death and Angel's sojourn in hell. If they tried to return to their previous relationship that would make a mockery of all that they have experienced. That's not to say, however, that they can't build a new relationship. Their experiences have greatly changed both of them and I believe that the relationship that they build on the ashes of their old one will be much stonger and deeper for all of the things that they've had to face. Besides any safe accountant that Buffy tried to hook up with would quickly become a nice vamp snack.
