09-01-99 - Bruce's solo live album press release:
TAKE COVER...!
Bruce Dickinson a.k.a. The Air Raid Siren, the most recognisable
voice in Metal and frontman of British metal giants Iron Maiden
releases his 7th solo album ' Scream For Me Brazil' on October
11th.
12 songs recorded during sold out shows in Sao Paulo on the
'Chemical Wedding World Tour' in April of '99, the album title is
taken from Bruce's most famous on-stage rabble rousing call to
arms, and draws heavily from the highly acclaimed and
commercially successful 1998 released 'Chemical Wedding' album,
which was voted by readers and journalists from rock magazines
across the world as one of the Top 10 'must have' albums of that
year. Recorded by Stan Katayama and produced by long time Bruce
cohort and guitarist Roy Z, the album also features Eddie
Cassillas on bass, Dave Ingraham on drums and fellow Maiden-ite,
guitar slinger Adrian Smith.
Bruce has recently completed a 20 show sell-out tour of America
with Iron Maiden and, as the Millenium draws to a close, and the
term Metal is no longer a proscribed word in the world of music,
'Scream For Me Brazil' offers fans the chance to hear one of the
genre's true leading lights at the height of his powers, in his
favourite environment - live on stage, and experience the
atmosphere of a Bruce Dickinson show at it's uncompromising best.

08-12-99 - I'm sorry I took so long to update this page. I've got back from LA one week ago, but I just couldn't do anything before I got some rest and overcame the jet lag. Now I've got news!I went to the Maiden show on July 30th in LA (at the Greek Theatre). The show was pretty good, but still it wasn't the same. I mean, it was nothing like Maiden used to be. I think they've lost that "magic" about them, I don't know. Or I'm a hopeless Bruce solo fan!!!
During the show, a little accident happened. Bruce and Dave fell out of the stage when Bruce tried to carry Dave on his shoulders... After the show, Dave had to go to the hospital to take an X ray of his left hand, and I heard they had to cancel some shows because Dave broke a finger!
An unusual thing about the show was Bruce's "Manowar-like" speech about heavy metal and rock n' roll... "Cause rock n' roll is drinking fuckin' beer in fuckin' public"; "There are two types of heavy metal: heavy metal and bullshit!" That was funny, cause he looked like a rebel without a cause, and it's nothing like him...
I went backstage with the Tribe Of Gypsies (Dave Ingraham, Roy Z, Eddie Casillas and "Guru") and Bruce talked about his forthcoming live album and about ToG's forthcoming album.
While I was in LA, I also went to Sound City Studios where Roy Z is mixing Bruce's live album. I listened to "Trumpets Of Jericho" and it sounds really great! I think the album's gonna be really damn good! I've got some pictures of the studio! Here they go:
And here is the set list of the show that was recorded in Sao Paulo for this live album:

04-26-99 - The extra show, as expected, was not as croweded as the Wednesday show. (I was glad, for at least I could see it perfectly). Bruce said that was not the last show in his solo career... We hope so! They played two extra songs: "Taking The Queen" and "Jerusalem". Great show.
04-22-99 - Because the tickets were sold out for the Sao Paulo concert yesterday and many people simply didn't have the chance to see it, an extra show was scheduled for Sunday, April 25. There were 7 thousand people in the show yesterday! It was just GREAT! Everybody was singing all the songs! It was just perfect! They played "Jerusalem" for the first time in the tour, and man, it was astonishing!
04-21-99 - The show in Rio yesterday was simply amazing! The band played amazingly perfectly! Personally, I felt sad to think that Bruce's kinda leaving his solo career for a while.
04-04-99 - We've got new pictures of the new Iron Maiden line-up with Bruce! Check them out!
04-04-99- Bruce's recording a live album in Sao Paulo!! Bruce's spending some days in sunny Florida, US, and gave an interview to the Brazilian magazine Rock Brigade. In this interview, Bruce said that the live album is not gonna have any Iron Maiden song. But take it easy... He's gonna play Maiden songs in the gig, but the songs are not gonna be in the album. He also said he's keeping the South American tour and recording a live album to prove for everybody that he's not leaving his solo career. His plans were to record a studio album before the new Maiden album was released, but he's not gonna have the time to write good songs and record both for Maiden and his solo work.
