"The Chemical Wedding" is the best of Bruce's solo albums. I'd say this is one of the best albums ever! Bruce finally accomplished his "project" of doing the heaviest album of his career. This CD is heavy in every aspect. The music is heavy - they've put bass strings on Adrian's guitar!-, the lyrics are heavy - brilliantly based on William Blake's poems - and the illustrations are heavy - most of them are by William Blake too. It's a conceptual album, based on alchemy. The album is like a movie (as Roy would describe it); there is unity of melody and theme in all the songs. There is no weak point in this album; it's just P-E-R-F-E-C-T!
