Oh my god, what can I say, just AMAZING!
Probably the best concert I've ever been at. I got rihgt up the front
and
saw every facial expression , every guitar chord, every spit, every
in band
joke, Thoms face as he played with the crowd, and his freakazoid
movements...Jesus Amazing! I'm sure he
was looking at me cos I seemed to be the only one there that know every
beat, and hcord of every song and jumped the highest before everyone
else
and jumped around to "live bits" that the other people werent expecting
and
stuff. I was totally sober and all cos tere was no bar there but God
I'm
not now! Phew!
They played 22 or 23 songs in all I think, to "the largest crowd we've
ever
played to". I'll try and go through the setlist if I can remember the
order:

Midway there was a kinda long speech about support bandsetc and about
the
rain and about their album going straight to no 1 here in Ireland and
how really really hapy
they were to be here etc.
Colin was a laugh throughout hte 1st 1/2 plodding up to the front of
the
stage mouthing the words and doing his best to get the crowd to cheer
to
him and stuff. They band were in a great mood joking with each other
and
the crowd. The concert was recorded so it should be on 2Fm within a
few
months and stuff so I could give you proper quotes and stuff. Oh God
what
else can I say ..I'd be here all night if I went on about Thoms
interactions with the crowd at the front of the stage and playing the
guitar backwards and stuff ...They are really amazing to watch live.
I got
a good view of Jonnys playing and my god does that boy know guitars....AH.
Well sorry Itai I could go on but I'm a bit tired and drunk and stuff
cos
it was an amazing night but I think I;d better leave it at thatt. Best
of
luck with your web page , future etc better go to bed and who cares
if I
wake up tomorrow at all cos the best day of my life was just enacted..or
something!
