Then after that the roadies came out and got the stage ready for Radiohead.
At 8.50PM on the longest day of the year Radiohead took to the stage.Fitter
Happier was playing and about half ways through the band came out.Fitter
Happier was completely drowned out by the sound of thousands of fans
cheering and clapping the band.I was standing about 6 or 7 rows back
from
the front and I could see them perfectly.
The first song they played was Lucky.I am not usually an emotional
person-I
rarely cry but I found myself in tears as I sang along with what is
in my
humble opinion one of the best songs ever made.I'm not going to do
the
concert song by song.I have the set list at the end.
Another great moment was when they played Exit Music. They did it
perfectly. The part which goes "we hope your rules and wisdom choke
you,now
we are one" was just amazing.I watched Thom spellbound-mere words cannot
say how brilliant the song is.At the end of the song Thom was dancing
and
it was brilliant.
Going up on the bus we wondered if they'd play Talk Show Host which
is one
of my favourite Radiohead songs. When they did play it I went mad.I
screamed
my heart out when Thom said this song is called Talk Show Host.During
the
song he looked down right where I was standing.I like to delude myself
he
actually saw me.Any way I sang along and that song was one the highlights
of the concert for me.
The band seemed to be enjoying themselves. At one point after one the
songs
Jonny started jumping up and down. Then Colin,Thom and Ed joined in.
Every now and then Colin would come out to the front and put his hands
up
or wave and we all shouted Colin at him.
Thom was wearing black clothes and he looked to be enjoying himself. At
one
stage he looked across the crowd and said "fuck".Probably because it
was
the biggest concert they've ever played.
Jonny had on jeans and an orange t-shirt with a figure in black on
it.He
Was smiling and waving at the crowd. He put back his hair so you could
see
his face. And well pictures just don't do any justice to how gorgeous
he
actually is.
It was hard to see Phil but you could see his bald head behind the
drums.Everyone cheered at the end when he stood up.
Ed was cool.He had on a white shirt and he is very good looking too.He
played really well as did the rest of them.
When they played Creep Thom said "Now it's time for kareokee,
creep, creep, creep."And it's true every one sang along.I do actually
like
the song.I wanted to see Jonny doing the guitar at the chours and it
was so
cool.
During Climbing Up The Walls Jonny had what looked like a remote control
car box in his hand.Does anyone know what it was?
They played for about one and three quarter hours(?)and they were the
best
2 hours of my life. After the concert I was on such a natural high.I
don't
think I'll ever be the same again.I hope the band and everyone who
was
there enjoyed it as much as I did.I'd better stop or I'll just start
rambling again

Here is the set list. One of the roadies took the set list off the ground
where it was taped and he threw it the crowd after the concert. One
of the
guys who was on the bus with us caught it so I think it should be
