Hail & kill. Just writing to tell people about the awesome shows ManOwaR puts on.
Recently, about Sept. 7, ManOwaR played in a little bar called The Machine in
Massillon, Ohio(which was about 45 minutes away from Cleveland where I lived) The
place was pretty much a shit hole. It was small, and very cramped. Anyways, When
ManOwaR played they literally shook the house. The ground shook and started to pound.
Since the place was really small, and I think the sound crew did a half ass job, the
vocals there were vey difficult to hear. Besides that, once the concert was over, I
left the place with a sense that I could now die happy. Whoe and behold. Four months
later ManOwaR was coming back. They were coming to another small place called Ron's
Crossroads in Akron, Ohio ( about half an hour from Cleveland). That concert was
truely awesome. The first song started out kinda drab. But then Joey DeMaio had the
sound crew come back out and fix the problem. Joey said that " we deserved better" for
the ten bucks we payed to see the show. After the sound crew finished, the concert
resumed. They played Spirit Horse, Return of the Warlord, Wheels of Fire, Army of
Immortals, Sign of the Hammer, Hail & Kill, Kings of Metal, Black wind Fire and Steel,
and solos by Joey and Karl. The concert was my answer in life. I can easily say it
was the best I ever was to. Once they were done playing Joey said they would be back
in the Clevelnad area for New Year's Eve. My only wish is that they play closer to
home. But I would easily span the country just to see 'em. Oh well. ManOwaR has
certainly made a major impact in my life. I now know the meaning of True Heavy Metal.
ManOwaR are certainly the Kings. I own every ManOwaR CD along with a few live
singles. I'm seventeen years old and will stay a follower of ManOwaR as long as I can
help it. Later.
