Heavy Metal Onslaught

Killing their way out of San Francisco comes Possessed. In order to describe the kind of sound that they have, double the speed and heaviness of Venom, but make it eve faster and heavier!!! Although not too original in their delivery, I don't think it matters anymore. Some time last year Jeff Becerra (bass and vocals), Mike Sus (drums), Brian Montana (guitar), and Mike Torrao (guitar) all went into the studio to record their three-track death demo. Death Metal, Evil Warriors, and Burning in Hell are some of the fastest and heaviest songs I've ever heard. When the Head Honcho and Top Dog of Metal Blade Records Brian Slagel got his hands on them he put them on Metal Massacre 6. The song: Swing of the Axe, and it is definitely one of the most killer tracks on that album. By the way, to let you know, Brian Montana was kicked out some time ago because he was a "wimp." So, in came his replacement Larry LaLonde. They've been playing the S.F. scene quite regularly and their following has grown to a tremendous amount of true die hard ragers and over the top thrashers locally and worldwide. Let me tell you, their show is super-intense, loud and heavy as fuck!! They are quite professional and well rehearsed. You will see for yourself if you ever get to see the band live. So now that they established themselves as a hot band both by their recorded material and their live performances, what's next for the band? Well, let's see. Since Metal Blade and Torrid Records didn't sign them, Combat got smart and snatched them up in a hurry. So expect their debut album sometime this summer to terrorize all the posers and please all the metallers. The band took advantage of it's week off school for the Easter Vacation by going into the studio to record their album!!! So any way, they have penned down some more OTT songs like The Exorcist, Tribulation, Twisted Minds, Fallen Angel, Pentagram, Holy Hell, and Katon's Curse, I mean Satan's Curse! Sound heavy enough? So if you're one of those kinds that like to relax to nice easy listening music like Exciter, Metallica, or Venom, then Possessed is for you.
