I am not into a lot of rule when it comes to trading. I am not picky what so ever. I hope to trade with those the same way. These are just suggestions, because I find that people do whatever they want.
1. Please burn all Cdrs (especially concerts) using DAO.
2. Please burn at a low speed.
3. Please inform me if there are any glitches in the Cd before we trade. I don't examine all my Cdrs the way some guys do. But I will let you know if there are any glitches that I know of. If you find a glitch on a Cdr, I re-record it for you or make you a new disc free of trade.
4.. I can't dictate what Cdrs you buy. In my experience they all sound the same. So buy whatever is on sale...whatever. I ask you to expect the same from me. I usually use either TDK or Memorex.
5. I prefer to ship without jewel cases. If you want jewel cases let me know and we will do that. But it will be your call.
6. Keep in touch with me during the trade. Things do occasionally get lost in the mail and I want to make sure everything is going fab on both ends.
7. To be right up front, I find scans to be a major pain in the rear. I will NEVER print out scans and mail them to you. I will usually make up a Cdr full of lots of scans and goodies. I occasionally email them if we just traded one or two discs. Or I might point you to the web page that I downloaded the scans from in the first place. I do not have artwork for every disc I own, so please ask before we trade...especially if this is a huge deal to you. If you are an overly picky person when it comes to artwork (and I am sure that you know who you are) please do not trade with me.
8. In light of the recent "post it note scare" I have been reading about. I would ask that you no longer use the sticky post it notes (or any tape type material) on the discs.
9. Remember that this is our hobby. So have some Beatley fun with it! :)
