When you want your personal e-mail address, you are on the right page. I'll give you some links to servers who offer you a free e-mail address.

• Geocities
  Offers you a free e-mail and 6MB web-space.
  You can check your mail in any mailprogram.
  
  • Incoming mail (POP3) server : mail.geocities.com
  • Outgoing mail (SMTP) server : mail.geocities.com

  Disadvantage : You need a primary e-mail address to register.
  

  

• Hotmail
  Offers you a free e-mail.
  You can check and write your mail on-line.
  You can also check it in any mailprogram.(Only 1 month free!)
  
  • Incoming mail (POP3) server : hotmail.com
  • Outgoing mail (SMTP) server : ???

  
  Disadvantage :

  • The POP-mail is only 1 month for free, after you can only read your mail online.
    

• Rocketmail
  Offers you a free e-mail and registration at Four11.
  You can check and write your mail on-line.
  
  Disadvantage :
  • It hasn't yet a POP3 or SMTP server.
  • So you can only read and write your mail on-line.

  

• NetAddress
  Offers you a free e-mail.
  You can check your mail in any mailprogram.
  
  • Incoming mail (POP3) server : pop.netaddress.com
  • Outgoing mail (SMTP) server : ???

• Yahoo! Mail
  Offers you a free e-mail.
  You can check and write your mail on-line
  
  Disadvantage :

  • It hasn't yet a POP3
