Broom	Water	staff of ash, twigs of birch, binding of willow ash--protective, birch--purifying, willow--sacred to Goddess	Used to cleanse the Magic Circle and such.
Wand	Air	willow, elder, oak, apple, peach, hazel, cherry	Used for invocation, directing energy, drawing magical symbos, pointing toward danger while balanced on the WitchÕs pal, stir brew in a cauldron.
Censer	Air	-------	Used to burn incense.
Cauldron	Symbol of the Goddess, Water, Reincarnation, Immortality, Inspiration	iron, with 3 legs.	Used for cooking and brew making. It is the container in which magical transformations occur.
Athame (The Magic Knife)	Fire	double edged with a black or dark handle	Used to absorb energy and invoccation.

The bell is often used for invoking the Goddess, warding off evil spells and spirits, halt storms evoking good energies. Also used to signal beginnings and endings of spells.
