March &April blew in and out like a lion so we hope May will bring us calm winds and rain.
Levis & Lace celebrated another anniversary with a spectacular week-end of fun & fellowship….
wonderful dancing; great food. Thank you to all members of that club.
Saturday, May 7 there will be a Westerners meeting at the Wagon Wheel in Tye, TX at 4:00 pm
with a dance at 8:00 pm sponsored by the Abilene Association. We would like to see lots of Concho Squares
members there. Members of Concho Squares will participate in a demo at Old Fort Chadburne on May 21.
The exact time for that demo will be announced later. We would like to have two squares participate so if you
can help with that let Pat Schlinke know. Concho Squares will remember and honor all veterans at the May 24
dance so be sure to put that date on your calendar.
On June 14 we will make this a special dance honoring all fathers. June 28 we will have a “Summer Picnic” (indoors). Sandwiches, chips, and dips will be on the menu. . We hope you all will make plans to attend all the dances in
May & June because your presence will make the dances “special”.

Bill Stafford is the winner of the 1991 Chevrolet pick-up! Thanks to all who purchased raffle tickets for it.
The proceeds go to the Wagon Wheel roof and repair fund.
Workshop is still on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. We are learning a lot and continue to invite all interested square dancers.
Bobby and Billie Jean Clark will host the May 14 Dance and Betty Smith the June 11 dance. We appreciate them, as well as those who do the "Key and Kitchen" duties.

May 14th we will have a dance at the Senior Building at 8:00 P.M. featuring caller John Geen from San Angelo, Texas. Birthdays to be celebrated at this dance are:
Rita Rios May 3rd, Renee Padier May 5th, Dale Bebee May 28th,
This will be our only dance in May due to graduations that members will be attending.
June 11th there will be no dance so anyone that wants to can go to State Festival in Amarillo.
June 25th we will have a dance at the Senior Building at 8:00 P.M. featuring caller Roy Lombard from Del Rio, Texas
