Hi! My name is Roger Currie. I'm from South Africa, and live in
the province of Gauteng. I'm 23 years old, and am busy studying
for my honour's degree in accounting, at the University of South
Africa. I'm busy doing my practical at the same time, with a firm
called Moores Rowland.
I stay about 50 kilometres south of Johannesburg, in a very small district called Walkers Fruit Farms. We have 2 horses, 4 dogs, and 2 cats as pets.

Well, a bit about myself. I love most sports, that is, to both watch and play them. But I'd have to say that rugby and cricket head the top of the list. I've played cricket for a few clubs, and then gave it up, as it was too time consuming. I've also played rugby for a couple of clubs, the main one being Wits university. I plan on playing there again next year.

Some of my other hobbies would include skydiving, which I haven't done in quite a while, unfortunately. A great feeling, that! Water skiing is another past time that I enjoy! (No snow-skiing possible here, which is a great pity!)
Back to cricket, I used to play in an action cricket league team, with a whole lot of friends, and we were entered in the league. That was excellent fun. Action cricket is much quicker than the normal game of cricket. But it's rather hard on the elbows!

And then, one of the things I love doing best, is travelling. I've been overseas twice now, once in 1989, and again in 1995. In 1989, only to Germany to visit my family over there, which was absolutely fantastic! Then again in 1995, where I was more adventurous, and visited countries like Belgium, Sweden, Austria and Switzerland as well. Belgium is awesome, a brilliant place, with very friendly people. Sweden, well, Sweden is extremely cold, (at least it was when I was there!) Also an extremely friendly country. As for Switzerland and Austria, well, I was only there for a few hours, skiing etc, but also wonderful places! Read all about my holiday if you wish, in my vacation page, which should be up soon!
And then, I also like messing around on the computer. I enjoy chatting on the net, with programs like Irisphone, and WBS and ICQ. But I also enjoy making small programs and pictures.
