Cherry Party Punch
3 cups hot water 1/2 cup sugar 2 pkgs. (3 oz.) cherry gelatin 3 cups cold water 5 cups chilled Dr. Pepper |
1 cup pineapple juice 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon almond extract 1/2 cup lemon juice |
Combine hot water and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add gelatin, stirring well until dissolved. Add cold water, lemon juice, pineapple juice, salt and extracts. Cool. Just before serving, stir in Dr. Pepper. Serve with crushed ice. Makes 30 servings.
