Those Monday & Wednesday nights when he
could be watching Melrose.
He doesn't mind when we stay at his house 'till the
wee hours making sure the costumes all fit
Even when we eat all his food, spill punch on the rug,
he still puts up with all of our -- bad manners.
He works tirelessly teaching us every beautiful dance
It looks so easy when he does it;
And well, uh, we try!
He never complains when we can't get that 1 stupid step -
[can we do that one more time?]
While reminding us to smile, have fun, and be
full of pep.
For his twenty years of dedication; without him
We may never have been friends.
All the socials, feasts, & parties - our good times
And memories will go without end.
