Tip #1: Go early! Seriously arrive when it opens--and believe me, it opens very early--because the animals are most active then. During the day, many of these animals sleep or rest in the shade, especially during summer. At dusk, the animals are ready to return to their sleeping quarters which, for the most part, are not open to public viewing.

Tip #2: Go on the safari ride first, immediately after you arrive. If you arrive early, there will be no line. Trust me, you don't want to wait in this line later in the day, especially if it's hot.

Tip #3 Don't miss the 3-D movie inside of the Tree of Life, fashioned after A Bug's Life, staring Flick. It's short, but one of the most creative attractions at the park.

Check this link out to my favorite author, and my beau. He just got a book deal, but that's still hush-hush. Details later. The site was developed by WebDelSol and The Literary Review after he won a second national prize.
