Anaheim, CA - the Arrowhead Pond
hee, yay. This is where i work :] Dor picked me up slightly late [just enough time for me to watch my girl and get all misty eyed] and we got to the pond about 11am expecting massive crowds of people - to our surprise there were only two people! kick ass! So with everyone i was with, i ended up being 7th in line. Not bad, not bad at all. the Baracades were already set up when we go there. We sat around for an hour or more before we decided it was best that we go into the baracades. Yay number system. This is the first time i was able to see it _WORK_. We all lined up and filed into the baracades and sat down. We were all comfy and in nice spots - then unfortunaltey they had to wash the building and made us all get OUT of the baracades. This was stressful - there were more people than before, and not all were down with the numbers - but luckily we were able to line up and walk in again, and settle this time. So i ended up in the dead center of the baracades. Unfortunatley they were on WHEELS, but it managed to be ok. Everyone around us was really nice. I met a lot of nice people.
About 4:30 we see tori's bus drive underground, and then about 20 minutes later she walks out of the venue over to us. You know, i honestly don't quite remember what i said to her. I know i asked to take a photo with her, and she did. And i know that i told her about going backstage in eugene. She was like 'oh yeah!' kinda like 'now i remember you!' and i just thanked her and told her it was fun. Then i held up my hand to her [i had written ALAMO] and i told her i would be with her until san diego, and if there was any chance of alamo coming around before then. She kinda gave me a 'mmm...' face and was like 'till san diego huh? are you gonna be in vegas? maybe there, it seems like a good place for it..remind me' and that was it as far as i can recall :]
I was standing next to dor today. I was happy about that. Her and i have been getting along better than we had in the past two years that we've been friends. She made up her mind that she wanted to ask tori to make the 'pussy face'. Its an expression we use all the time [david started it, it originated from KING PIN], and thought it would be funny to have tori do it. [if you dont know what it looks like, its putting your fingers in a peace sign shape and holding them to your mouth, and sticking your tongue out]. It was cute, because before tori even got to me dor was like 'i dunno you guys, i dont think i can do it' and we were all giggling and tori looks out of the corner of her eyes and goes 'what dor?' and dor was like 'i'm not talking to you! you have good ears' and we were all giggly about it, so by the time tori got over, she was prepared for something random. We were all cracking up as dor explained that we all make this face that can be offensive, but if she would do it we'd love it...and tori ...well..did it! hahaha. it was so funny. After she did it tori was like 'well, whatever does it for you'. hahah it was so funny. I have the photo, but we're keeping it off the net i believe :]
The show was nothing spectacular. It was enjoyable, and better than i expected it to be, but it wasnt like earth shaking. In the bottom three from this tour. I was 4th row and totally alone, but i danced my little buns off. Hahah, i'd have to say that Siren was the highlight of the show - if that means much :] heres the set list.
