we arrived at the bowl about 10:30 am and found about 15 other people there. i was given number 17 but it didnt matter much anyway. About 2 p.m. Steve came out and told us that there would be no meet and greet today. They werent able to do one.
We were dissapointed, because it seemed to come out of nowhere. This was a highly anticipated show amongst most of us, and there weren't that many people around. So, rather than sit there and sulk, dor audrey and i went up to state street and i dropped off my film and we did some shopping, it was fun. When we got back we just waited around to go in..when they let us in, since we were general admission pit we RAN up the damn hills only to find we had to wait at the top of the hill. So we all ran for nothing. it was really damn tiring too. And we ran into the pit, and there were enough people to line the railing. that was all. it was all this panic for nothing. I QUITE enjoyed the devlins tonight. i was right in front of peter, and colin kept looking at me and giving me this huge ass grin. i was all giddy. i was standing by ursula and jason and we had fun passing the time.
the show is really great from what i remember. santa barbra [esp. with no meet n greet] really blended in with the rest and isnt sticking out in my mind. i was so damn exhausted. I do know that famous blue raincoat was absolutley beautiful. It was really touching, it made me get a little misty eyed. she had half the lyrics written on her hand. It was so touching to know she did it for us west coaster special people.

afterwards, it was nice to come home. but i had a lot of time to bond with dor on the drive home, and julie and christa when we ate at a random dennys and dor drove us all in circles and we thought we would die :]
