Las Vegas, NV

Ok so i overslept. whoops. we were supposed to be up at i think 4:30 and i didnt wake up till 7. so we were hauling our little butts up to vegas as fast as we could. we got there about 10:45 and we were only like 20th in line, and if we would have been there an hour or two earlier, it wouldnt have made a difference..so i was really really happy we got that extra sleep. People had been there overnight! eesh! :] We knew there would be no meet n greet, so when steve came out to confirm it, it wasnt heartbreaking in the LEAST. So at least i was prepared for it. I was hoping i could have reminded tori about alamo, since i hadnt since like two days before, but oh well. i always had san diego.

I wasn't sitting too much of the day. as you can see, jessen, the tattoo man came over and drew on my arm..and it came out REALLY nice. It was trees with a 'twinkle' and a 'tiny kind of scary house, by the woods' as jessen said :] i was quite impressed. he drew it with a sharipe in like 5 minutes. Sometime in the day david and i left the line to go check into our room in NYNY. I was such a little kid. When i go to vegas we stay in our timeshares, now i was in a areally nice room in a big hotel! It was so nice - 22nd floor over the pool and the rollercoaster drop was right out our window, and everytime it went down david would go 'wheeeeeeee'. it was funny. We returned to the line and we walked around the hotel a bit and went and got ice cream, and other fun stuff like that.

A friend of Jessens asked tori for London Girls at the greek and she promised it in vegas. We thought she was talking out of her ass. I knew how much he wnated london girls cos i recall him asking her for it last tour. Someone came out and told us she was soundchecking it with a band, so we all ran inside to listen..you could only hear a bit..then jason christa david and i decided to look around for the tori poster ...we walked all around and walked into this little cafe in it and as we're turning to leave jason goes 'erin theres colin eating' and i kinda look over at him..and then we all scurry out. we kinda stood around like 'what do we do' cos i wouldnt DREAM of bothering him while he ate...and i think he saw us staring..we walked over to the couch in the lobby and stood there talking, cos i could seem him eating from there. boy was he enjoying that food. hes so cute. eruh. anyhow, he finally came walking out and i kinda leaned my head back on the couch and said hi...he didnt hear so i turned my head and said hi again feeling like a moron and he turned around while walking and christa and i waved, and he kinda smiled and waved and SHOOK them sexy hips into the elevator. YES, erin made a fool out of herself. but its ok. i love him :]

so we went back..the line got really bad. lots of annoying 'goth' people that were totally pushy and rude. when they finally let us in it was madness. this place was HELLA small. i took one spot over by one side of the stage..went to the middle, but i wasnt rail...and finally ended up behind matt and jeremy who were in front of where caton would be. good think i picked there. everyone was pushing from the side into the middle, so our pushing wasnt bad at ALL. apparently the center had BAD pushing. and when everyone got up for the devilns, matt and jeremy let me on the rail, which was really really helpful, and meant a lot to me. Before the devlins i had real bonding converstaions with matt and jeremy and it was really nice.

we were totally grooving to the devlins, but tonight apparently eveyrone noticed hot hot colin was, and decidedly told him so. they should all die. its all me me me! hahahahaha. but peter was once again smilely towards us :]

This was one cramped stage. the lights were house lights so they werent as dramatic, and it actually made a really big difference. As jeremy said, we got a 'lotta love' tonight. She was looking at the three of us a LOT :] It was really cool. The first half of the show made me wanna die...spark, cfg, god....what was up? I was like 'she promised this would be good!' but once we got to solo time..it was all good. This was one obnixious crowd, they were so loud. i know she encourages it for icicle, but not for the entire song. oh well. Then she started a story...it went something like this

'this girl asked me to do this...and i feel like shes going to pee on my head if i dont..and shes been to..' pauses and looks around 'what is it, 15 shows now...' and she may have said 'so this is for her' but i dont remember..and matt looks at me and goes 'omg its alamo' and i'm just like no, then she starts the first note and i just like let out a scream and like lay my head down. then someone asks where maynard is and she said 'last time i saw maynard he had on a shirt that said free frances bean' and went into the song. It was beautiful. I cried. first time i've really cried this tour. it was so touching, and beautiful and it meant like, so much to me. she went out of her way to do it for me - because she totally fucked up all the words...but..it was just..wonderful. The rest of the show was, ofcourse, rockin.

London Girls was cute. she came out and she said 'i know you thought i forgot about you, but i didnt' and she picked up a sheet of lyrics and said 'so jessen and dru this is for you, since you drove all your buds up' and she went into a totally rockin band version of london girls. it was really happy and good :]

Pretty good year this tour is just, really really good. thats all i gots ta say about that. Song for Eric was totally random because the sound was already off. she started it and was like, motioning to marcel to turn her mic back on and she did one of the best versions of song for eric i'd ever heard. It was bad tho cos the crowd decided to yell out song requests during the show. Oh well. it was a GREAT show. i was on cloud 9. and marcel was totally sweet and went out of his way to get me a setlist, and that was greatly appreciated.

and that was my vegas story :]

no wait - we spent the next day in vegas, and while we were walking through NYNY, going down one set of escalators, going up the other side was none other than 2034820984230498 security guards, and michael jackson. it was SO COOOL. He had on the hat and everything., and a silver jacket. that was really cool :] 1
