Symphony Hall, Phoenix, AZ 7 p.m show
It was hot. OH my GOD was it hot. I saw this show with my mother. But it was hot. Really hot. Like 115 outside. We were sweating in the air conditioned theater. We were 7th row side for this show. My mom was really amused with this show. I was right next to steve so i was unable to boot it. I just stuck it in my backpack. Tori was really funny. Kept comenting on the heat.

Cool On you Island/Hey Jupiter
Losing my Religion was wonderful..it was the calm version..the set kinda bored me from the last show until the encore...the first encore made me wanna die. Two of my favorites that depress me deepley. When she started the first note of cool i freaked pulled out my recorder and got most of it. I was shaking i was so excited. I got to hear a YKTR song! SHe also commented that she wrote Hey Jupiter on the floor of the bathroom of her hotel while she was "in this city". Time for show #2.
Phoenix, AZ July 2 1996 10 P.m. Show
After dropping stuff off at the car we go back to the venue and wait to go in in the horrible heat. Did i mention how small this venue is? the smallest i've seen her in. This time i was 10th row center. Enjoyable. This was the amazing and wonderful set. Even my mother enjoyed it more

WONDERFUL show. She was very into it, very candid. I'm on Fire was lovely, Etienne was on the piano and very random. As she mentioned YKTR and caton some girl from the balcony yelled for etienne and she did it..commenting that she "never did this"....as she started Upside Down some guy jumped on stage which was really scary. As he was escorted off tori was just sitting there with her face covered and knees drawn up..but she in turn calmed US down. She did the best version of Purple Rain i've ever heard. It was at the time, what i thought would be my last show..and i was QUITE satisfied.
