we wanted to wake up early to see the city, but we didnt actually get going till almost 2pm. i felt bad. i wanted to see the city ya know? some ppl wanted to sleep and didnt care, but how many times am i gonna be in minneapolis? i can afford another day kinda tired. we still slept a long time.
we headed into downtown st. paul cos dor wanted to show us her old work - the childrens museum. i was totally down to see it, and kellie loves kids stuff so it was all good. we looked for places to eat, and almost ate at mickeys but it was too crowded. but id ont care, i got to set foot in mickies! i got to see a mighty ducks movie landmark baby! it was in jingle all the way too. anyhow, so we ate, and the guys decided to go to acomic book store, while the girls went into the museum. we planned to meet in an hour and that hour went by SO DAMN FAST. it was upsetting! i wanted to spend more time there. it was so awesome.
i got to play in the winterwonderland, and see dor's old favorite baby room. kellie loved it too. dor made me a little hat out of newspapers and we got to crawl around like we lived in ant tunnels, as well as in a pond enviornment.
oh yeah! there was also a huge magnetic poetry kit. dor started pulling out all the tori song titles and it started to look like a set list. haha. it was sick man. but like, this is only part of it. we ended up doubling this, but i was saving film
oh yes, they also had these huge like..vats almost of stuff and one of them was old film canasters (too bad i could tell that like half of them were from black and white film), and dor was like jizzing on herself. hahaha. i think its a really adorable picture of dor too.
we met back up with the guys who apparently found a porn section of their comic book store, so everyone had good fun! hahaha. then i really dont remember what we did. we saw like dor's old house which was neat, and we went to cheapo - the fucking biggest used CD store ever. it made me wanna die. And we went to other comic book store and music stores. i found a scott weiland promo video for a buck. and we also went to a condom king store and other things. we stopped at a liquior store and bought a ton of drinkie drinkie. wine coolers baby. we stopped back at dor's house to drop stuff off, and i dont remember what. and i went out and joined jessen while he smoked. i froze my ass off, but we had a reallllly great conversation. one of those serious ones :] i dont have them much lately. it was really nice. it was really helpful too. im glad we had it. and then, we went gambling
that kicked ass. out to mystic lake where the gambling age is 18. dor parked ASS across the parking lot and it was 31 degrees and windy and we were ASS COLD. the puddles on the ground were icy. i wanted to die by the time we got in. and we got carded the second we walked in the door. haha.
dor found her friend that worked there and i cashed in like 20 for quarters. jason went off to find a black jack table and the boys followed him, and us girls went looking for slots together. kellie was having really good luck. i was having decent luck. i kept winning like 50 quarters n stuff. we stopped for dinner, and we sure did get stuffed. nasty ass buffets. woo! hahaha. but it was totally fun, and i got to know kellie better.
by the end of the night jason lost his 20, dor lost...some more...kellie won 40 and i had only used one of my rolls of quaters. i was able just to cash it back in. not bad. three hours on ten bucks. i was happy with that.
then we froze our asses off again running back to the car, and i was so amazed with the droplets of water that were completley frozen on the hoods of cars. they just froze in droplet form. it was awesome man. but it was fucking cold too. hahaha.
we went back to dor's house to partay. it was kinda fun. we played "i never" for a bit, and after one wine cooler dor crashed. we played a bit more and soon after jason crashed. meanwhile kellie and i are being totally obscene with jessen who made himself the center of our chickwich. eventually kellie fell asleep on the couch and the room went spinney. so it was me jessen and david. jessen and i kinda fell asleep right next to each other and took turns snoring in each others ears all night. hahaha. it was a weird, but really nice night. i thought it was fun. even tho dor crashed ASS fast! hahaha
