So after getting lost around akron we finally find the venue. There are only 3 other people ahead of us. its like 4am. sickies. i think i was number 6. I don't remember too much of Akron. That whole 3 days without sleep thing. Anyhow, it was great to see all the people i had missed so much. Like Matt Page and Jessen and Carolyn (even tho i barely knew her!) again. And i met tons of great new people - Adam, Chris, Danica!, Mikewhy...i could go on forever. I remember meeting Danica quite well. She sat down and said hi and i felt like i had known her forever. I love her more than anything. She's one person i'll probably miss the most. Anyhow meeting everyone was a blast. I think i took a 30 min nap every few hours when i collapsed. I wandered around the campus on my own a little bit and ended up by the frat houses, and this boy took jason and i to get taco bell for lunch. I got jessen a kick ass rhino man toy. Anyhow. I wasn't very impressed by Akron. It was pretty gross. And my least favorite city. I kept saying "we're in...akron." so. yeah. I swear the day was just a complete blur. I was so sleepy. We tried to organize numbers cos this was a GA show, but the police made it hell. this was the most unorganized thing i had ever seen in my life. Rather than line us up to go in, the police made us a huge wild crowd behind baracades, and just let us all go once the doors opened. I had a glass dor smacked in my face, then there was the hell of getting a wristband to get in. It sucked royally. BUt it ended up ok. Carolyn and Jason and Jessen saved me a great place up front just to the left of Caton. Which happens to be my favorite spot. hah!
I finally got to see unbelievable truth. they were ok. but remember that whole 3hoursofsleepin3days thing? i kinda passed out in the middle and woke up when the songs ended. I had a really happy vibe at this show. Carolyn was being super cute and sweet getting all excited at the truth, and just being her sweet self. I was having a blast. And then it was tori time. it was just, an amazing show. I was completley blown away. Precious things had me in tears - it was the first time i'd seen tori in 2 months so i kinda knew it would have that effect on me. This show was also, weird for me. Jason and i were discussing it later - he commented on how everyone was saying that this was the show they wished 'would never end' and how he and i disagreed - because it was weird. Apparently he was feeling the same thing i was.
i just stood there watching her in awe. I was watching this tiny little person play - and i was so overwhelmed with emotions. How can someone that small have so much power, and so much of a voice? how can all these amazing things come from that one person. How can i have SO MUCH LOVE for that woman up on stage? It was just. i dunno. things id never really thought about before. I realized just HOW amazing this woman is.

thoughts was just, random. and pretty. I remember jessen saying "what the fuck" and we all nodded in agreement. it was just. wow. I heard so many things i hadn't heard yet. Past the Mission which was ok, Girl which is just like SO GOOD LIVE. I love the whole rushing rivers part. But my favorite is the very end on the keyboard. the VERY end. Bells was really beauitul. And as much as i hate take to the sky and landslide they were very very pretty and nice. Cruel was awesome as always, and i noticed her tied up hands behind her back more than ever. And i finally got to hang ten again! After the first encore when tori walked back out she brought out a bottle of evian and handed it to joel and pointed at carolyn. The second encore seemed to go on forever. it was totally unplanned. After talula tori scurried over to jon and told him not to play and he told the rest of the band while she did black swan. She scrweed up pgy a bit and sang "pretty good smear". good stuff.
As she ran off the stage for the last time she turned towards me and gave this really surprised excited "oh you're here" wave which made me think maybe she just happeneed to recognize me. Good stuff i tell ya.
after that its a blur. i was focused on getting to the car. I got to the van, covered up in the backseat and i was out like a light. Until 20 min later when everyone else piled in, then i slept another hour sitting up. We stopped at the venue and got numbers and decided to take turns showering. Then apparently we had a hotel room and i passed out again for about 5 hours. Everyone was nice enough to give me a little extra sleep since i hadnt had any since thursday....
