i think thats everything today, that i've read so far.
i went with dor and audrey and valerie to a screening tonight. its a movie called Brokedown Palace
its supposed to come out this fall. everyone MUST see it. its with bill pullman and claire danes. and. well heres the description Starring: Claire Danes, Kate Beckinsale, Bill Pullman, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Paul Walker. Immediately following their high school graduation, two girls embark on a much-anticipated trip to Thailand. Their vacation turns nightmarish after they are accused of drug trafficking, then sentenced to 33 years in a Thai prison. Bill Pullman plays the expatriate American lawyer who comes to their aid. Directed by Jonathan Kaplan, Screenplay by David Arata. A Monarch Pictures film - distribution by 20th Century Fox. Currently in post-production. North American Release date: August 16, 1999
i know that makes it sound really bad, but it wasnt. i promise. i was sooooooo into it. they asked dor and i to stay for a focus group afterwards, and we got ten bucks. woo! free movie AND ten bucks. i totally wouldnt of seen it if it wasnt for claire, but now i completley reccomend it.
its was nice to discuss the movie afterwards. i cant imagine it looking good from the previews, i really cant. i would of never seen it if it wasnt for claire, but it was so super good. i think it has to of been her best work yet. ive never seen her act so well. god i love her.
but. it was a really moving, movie. and it made me think a lot.
it was funny, when they guy asked us how we liked the music..everyone was like it was good..and someone said but that last song..and we all jumped up :"YES! LOSE THE JEWEL SONG!" HAHA the last song was jewel and it made it all cheap. so i hope they change it
but the guy didnt like our comments. he kept trying to make dor and i look stupid. we were the youngest. everyone else said it wasnt reliastic (DUH it was based on a true story) and that it was predictable. and i SO dont agree.
but. it was so good. its having a really big impact on me. i cant explain it..
so that was my plug for the movie, brokedown place
oh and lesli, it has your man in it! lance guy. hes in it for like two seconds. her brings claire a bra.
