February 2003: Received the following information from Tina, regarding a possible project: April 02, 2002 - IGN FilmForce's source close to the production of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen has tipped us off that British thesp David Thewlis (Dragonheart) is a "maybe" for the role of Dr. Henry Jekyll/Mr. Hyde in the big-screen adaptation of the Alan Moore graphic novel miniseries. Our source advised us that outside of Sean Connery being set to star as "great white hunter" Alan Quatermain, no other actors have yet to join The League.

12 February 1998: Received e-mail from Agnes, who relays the following information from a "JJ Lee page": "eXistenZ, directed by David Cronenberg: This movie is due to start shooting on 3rd April 1998, in Toronto. A pet
project of Cronenberg's for some time, eXistenZ will be a cyberpunk
thriller about the blurring of reality caused by a virtual game that is
so complex it is almost biological. Jennifer Jason Leigh will play a
computer
game programmer who devellops the new cutting-edge virtual technology
which goes awry. Co-stars will include Britpackers Jude Law,
Sadie Frost, Sean Pertwee, Ewan McGregor (possibly), David Thewlis and
Jonny Lee Miller. Cronenberg says the picture will be very heavy
on creature effects and action effects, and will require actors in prime
physical shape to perform the "game" aspects of the film."
STATUS: Confirmed - David was NOT in this film.
7 December 1997: Received e-mail from Susan, who relays the following information: "In the gossip column of today's Parade Magazine is a question about the new film about John Lennon. It reports that Ewan McGregor was set to play John, not DT - in fact, DT's not even mentioned. But it looks like the movie isn't going to happen. A source close to Ono, 64, tells us: 'There is no deal, there is no script, there is no movie, there is no cast.'"

Thewlis is to star as Lennon, possibly with Neil Morrisey (of TV's Men
Behaving Badly) as McCartney."
