Comments: I don't know why you hold this grudge against MTV. So what if they don't play heavy metal and punk rock as much as they use to or whatever music you are into. Okay, yeah I know they always have beautiful people on their shows and that alot of girls and guys who watches MTV wishes they could look like them but so what. I know they always show 3 to 5 minutes of commercials in a 30 minute show (i.e. Real World). They exploit the Backstreet Boys too much (i.e. Backstreet TV). But if you don't like they way they do things tell them about it don't post a anti TV web site. Make petitions to let MTV know that your voice wants to be heard, that you want some changes. Also you complain about them only playing alot of pop, hip hop and rap, well those music genres' are really popular right now, back in the 80's and early 90's heavy metal and rock was really popular. Hip Hop and Rap is still new it only came out in the la e 80's. Heavy metal, alternative rock and rock 'n' roll have been out from since the 1950's. So MTV is giving pop, hip hop, rap, latin music a chance.That's what MTV is about showing other types of music. Like I said earlier, If you want them to play alt rnative rock and heavy metal during the day or in the after noon tell them. And what's wrong with them showing non-music shows, it's their television station, they do what they want. If they don't show non-music shows so what they can do that, it's their television station.
