Can I make a private room at Talkcity with that uses a password?

A:
You can but you mostly likely need a PC to do this. For more information go to Talkcity's web site and read the info about making a room. That should help.

Q:
I only have a long distance number to use with my WebTV, is there anyway I can get a local number?

A:
There are three ways. One is to call 1-800-GO-WEBTV and suggest a number for your area (not always going to work). A second way is to find a local internet provider (ISP) that supports PPP or PAP to use with OpenISP (for more information check out WebTV's OpenISP site). The third was is to use MCI as your WebTV provider. If you are a MCI long distance subscriber you will only pay $14.99 a month for WebTV and you might have a local number.
