Out Trigger is the second game to attempt Doom/Quake style gameplay in the arcade
world. The first being WAR. So far, so good. Out Trigger's graphics beat
Quake III hands-down. 'Course, we're talking about the Naomi board here, delivered by the
hand of god.
Like WAR, you can play in "Tomb Raider-style" third-person perspective or in "Quake-style" first-person for that good ol' FPS feel. The graphics are absolutely fan-friggin'-tastic. The characeter detail, the special effects, and the awesome environmental texturing and lighting.. production quality is way above avarage for the FPS genre (by PC standards). Check out the STAGES page and you'll see what I mean. Hail Sega, this is another bad ass arcade victory, and hopefully a future multi-player DreamCast port! |
