Bug fixed 5/01/97

Bug caused internal port overflow. After sending certain amount of letters computer was not able to open new connection. Successfully fixed in ALL remailers.

Release notes:

This is the final applet in Java Remailer series. This applet gives user full control over message contents. Now you are able to insert any tags into the header of the message. What for? It is simple: instead of me trying to predict and design applet with every combination of header fields, which will probably be necessary, you can read some info, which I am going to post on this site and DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!
This seems to be a very simple to use interface to email-to-usenet service. Infos are coming very soon ;)

Usage information:

This applet is just interface to the telnet. But comparing to telnet you can edit and reuse information you've entered. Here how it works:
Fields "To:" and "From:" have to be filled with in correct user@doman.name format.
Body field has to contain:
  1. Header tags (if you need them)
  2. Empty line (you need this element even if you don't use any header tags)
  3. The message body
Note: Remember if you don't want to use any header tags, start you body with empty line
So for example if you want to forge the date of you message you can use the following sequence of fields in the body of your message:
Date: Thu, 21 Apr 1997 16:06:16 -0200 - this is on the very first line
- here goes empty line
Here your message goes..... - your message starts here
The main reason I've designed this applet is to make anonymous posting to the usenet through e-mail-to-usenet gateways. Check back often. I'll probably post information on gateway usage and give a list of working gateways.
5/09/97 - I feel really lazy to post more information. Instead, I am giving up my sources(see below). Anonymous usenet posting is sensitive thing. So, if you are not smart enough to understand RFC,... too bad!

For more information on usenet message format read RFC850.
