God must have known there would be times we'd need a word of cheer, Someone to praise a triumph or brush away a tear. He must have known we'd need to share the joy of "little things" In order to appreciate the happiness life brings. I think He knew our troubled hearts would sometimes throb with pain, At trials and misfortunes, or goals we can't attain. He knew we'd need the comfort of an understanding heart To give us strength and courage to make a fresh, new start. He knew we'd need companionship, unselfish....lasting....true, And so God answered the heart's great need with Cherished Friends....like my Katiuska!! --author unknown |

Hello there!
Thanks for your interest in my Katiuska. Katiuska seemed to have escaped or gotten out of her previous owner's house. For that reason, I don't think she was abandoned; she even had the stitches from the spaying. When I saw her for the first time, she had been sitting at a neighbor's window sill for days so I fed her and provided water hoping somebody would look for her or post signs. The weather was getting colder and after so many days of seeing her there day and night, I could not wait any longer and took her inside my apartment without her first daddy's approval; but I didn't care. When I brought her inside the apartment, she inmediately felt at home. She and Misky seemed to be getting along very well; I was very happy. Katiuska is famous for being a big mouth with loud meows. She is so loud that she can be heard over the phone when I'm talking to any of my friends especially Margie. Misky loved to have her ears groomed by Katiuska, they even ate from the same dish and shared the same litter box; but something happened during the time her first daddy and I separated and Misky ended up hating Katiuska viciously. Katiuska is not an agressive cat.
Misky and Snow on the other hand, seem to take pleasure in attacking Katiuska but Katiuska
will not fight them back even though she has the agility and the strength to overpower
both of them. It seems as if she chooses not to fight them for some reason. They
share my house now and even though Misky was finally returned to me only a year ago this
September '99, Misky has taken over the entire household
relegating Katiuska and Snow to the second floor. By the way, I have another
video of Katiuska waiting for Hurricane Floyd on Sept. 14, 1999. Would you like to
see it? Well then just kindly put your paw on this link. |
