Description: "Gene In Destiny" First in the Annual Edition Doll collection. This bare shouldered ballgown is fashioned of dusky green taffeta and is bordered in gold lame' lace, with a gold mesh underskirt - double layered at the hem, allowing the fitted bodice to flow into a belled skirt. White evening gloves, a gold toned barrette, jewelry, and matching shoes complete the outfit. Designed by Mark Esposito, student winner of the Young Designers of America Competition. Circa 1954.
