Surprise Buzzcut

Thanks to Chris who sent in details of his unexpected Buzzcut.

Just thought y'all might want to hear about how I became a buzzcut fan sort of by accident. Here goes:

This afternoon I went to the usual barbershop where I get my haircut. I've always worn my hair short, about an inch on top, blended down to about half an inch on the sides and back. This time I asked my barber if he could cut it "just a little bit shorter" (my exact words) this time, since I was getting ready to go on vacation to Florida. He said yes, and he proceeded to buzz me. He had my back turned to the mirror, and when he turned me around, to my shock and surprise, I had been BUZZED! I told him that it was a shock, and he apologized, but I told him that there was no need to. I loved it. I asked him exactly how he cut it, and he said "basic #2 buzz." I love the way it looks, and the few people I've seen have been totally complimentary. (I'll see more people tomorrow, and I expect the same positive reaction.) I really like the fuzzy, buzzy feel as I run my hand over my head where there once was more hair. Maybe it's too early to tell, but I think I'm now a buzzcut customer for life!
