| This series of photos shows a high and tight
flattop being cut, with the finished results shown below. The photo on
the lower right shows a classic landing strip. Depending on the length
of hair at the top of the flattop, a landing strip may be just a slightly
visible patch of scalp at the center of the flattop, or it may be a clearly
visible, larger area of scalp as shown in this photo.
