The Buzztown reader shown in these photos has
an excellent high and tight, which really looks good on him.
The top of this cut is a variation of a flattop. It still has a landing strip cut, but the hair on top is brushed forward. Remember, high and tights don't have to be flattops, and typically in the military, they are usually not flattops, but more of a crewcut style. |

Although the top is brushed forward, it is still
cut with a slight landing strip. The hair in front has just enough length
to distinguish it from a (simpler) buzzcut, and this makes this cut look
more professional. The gradual and precise variation in hair length shown
in these photos (especially, the front view, below) is a classic example
of good barbering.
Another reason that this cut looks good is because the shape of the clipped hair line around the side of the head, follows the natural hair line at the front of the head. This can be seen by looking at the photo below, which shows the front of the head. |
