Recently, Buzztown reader Dave in Japan, sent in some photos of his regulation cut. Since then, he's been gradually going shorter and now has a cool high and tight. Here are his comments about his new cut and how, as an American on military duty in Japan, he overcomes the language barrier when he's in the barber shop. |
"It's hard to change a cut abruptly with the language barrier, so for the past few weeks, I've been saying higher on the sides, and shorter on the top. After a few weeks, I think it's gotten different than the last cut. The front is about an inch, and the top is around three-quarter to half an inch. I had to stress that I wanted to change my hairstyle, since for the first two weeks the barbers just matched the same style in spite of what I asked for." |
