Nothing is as refreshing as to browse through newsgroups looking for LARGE threads. If you find one (and you will...), you're guaranteed some interesting reading. Some put all their soul into taking a stand, like in the war of the OS'es, while others are satisfied with small provocative messages as "subscribe" or simply "me to". There are however two groups you should avoid, where you only find boring stuff about vinyl records (remember, someone??); who's got what, who's not got that, what is that and that is a .... Seriously; these two newsgroups are essential reading every day for an avid collector!

• Collecting - This group is only for information/discussions. Do not post "buy" or "sell" messages here!!
• Marketplace - If you do have anything for sale or if you are looking for some records, you can use this group instead. And for your own sake; don't post anything that includes the letters CD in some of these!
