I accepted the responsibility of being the Guardian of Joe's Watcher Oath from Trollheart's Adoption Page. I was also recently named as Joe's Guardian Angel, but then I was elevated to the next step- Direct Supervisor of Joe's Guardian Angels. (I REFUSE to use the term AA!)
Since becoming a Watcher, Joe has faced many dilemmas- many of which we have seen on HIGHLANDER.
At one point, he decided his friendship with Duncan was more important than being a Watcher, so he quit. Thankfully, Duncan came to his senses, and the two remained friends and Joe once again became a Watcher.
