'Peta! Quick!'
'What?'
'Just come in here!'
I followed Keelie into an empty room.
The bell had rung nearly two hours ago, we had been at drama practice, and I wanted to get home as soon as possible.
'This had better be quick……'
'Shhhhh! I have something I have to tell you but you have to promise not to tell anyone, ok?'
'Yeah, sure, whatever. Just hurry up.'
'Ok ok! Well, I was in the hall outside Mrs Green's office and I heard this squeal, so I go in there and she grabs me and spins me round the room. At first I had no idea what she was on about, but then it dawned on me……'
I looked at her expectantly waiting for her to go on.
'Well?'
Suddenly it dawned on me.
'No way! You're kidding me…….'
Keelie laughed.
'No chicky! I'm not! We're gonna be on TV! We're gonna be on TV!' she grabbed my hands and we danced around the room whooping for joy.
The next few days went by in a flash.
Everyone was on a high, the whole school, and there was a special school assembly in honor of us.
Hanson came and together we sang the song we had written for 'Secrets and Lies'.
.....I always knew the world was a strange, strange place and it was full of surprise,
But something I didn't count on was that it's a haven of secrets and lies.

The truth's escaping me, further and further everyday
I am searching for an answer but it's nowhere to be found

But the answer is blinded by the secrets and lies.........
It was a big hit.
As we all took our bows, including Will, Mrs Green came up on stage and announced that there were some important people from KL5 wanting to meet us.
They had arranged to meet at the local hang out that we used in the show, 'The Snake Pit'.
'This is so cool!' I gushed to Tay on the way to the Pit.
'I know! But I don't know how I am going to be able to cope with a girlfriend who's almost as famous as me!'
'Oh! You're pathetic! What? Are you worried I might steal some of your spotlight?'
He grinned.
'Nah. I guess not. I'm much more popular!'
