The Oasis gently welcomes you into Disney's Animal Kingdom. It is a cool, green, natural place to encounter animals and to de-tox from the world of noise.
The emphesis here is on nature. You will encounter miniture deer, brilliant macaws, shaggy ant-eaters, iguanas, sloths, and the tree kangaroo. The Oasis is you pathway to Safari Village, the hub of the park.







There is no story line/Mythology. It's function is a gathering place, giving people a refreshing glimpse of green nature. It delivers them through a series of mazes to their first view of Safari Village and The Tree of Life. This aera represents nature before mankind.

From this point, guests have their first view of Disney's Animal Kingdom™.






Ponds and waterfalls will be home to waterfowl and small mammals.
