I created this page in the hopes to dispell the rumors about Wicca and Witchcraft. Some common misconceptions:

Witches sacrifice animals.
I DON'T think so! In fact many Wiccans are avid members of the SPCA and treat their animals as family. There is absolutely no sacrificing in Wiccan circles or during spells. Anyone who tells you different is NOT Wiccan!

Witches hex people.
I sometimes wish I had the power to do this, but I have to face reality in that witches do not use Witchcraft to harm people. That's where the Threefold Law comes in, anything you do comes back to you threefold. I once told an ignorant Christian I would turn him into a frog and he actually believed me! I guess in a way it can be used as a threat towards idiots. =)

Wiccans worship the Devil.
This one is my favorite. I always have to laugh when I hear this one. What's the point in worshipping something evil? Where's the gratification? First of all, Wiccans don't believe in the Devil. The God and the Goddess are worshipped as the symbols of Protection and Life.

What I'm getting at here is that Wiccans are peace and nature loving. Read the article on my friend Rob from our local newspaper and you'll understand.
