We are listening to "Stefanie" by John Batzer, jr
Though the lyrics be forgotten...the melody lingers

Key West As the Southernmost City in the continental United States, Key West is strategically located in the Florida Straits. For centuries treasure ships and merchant vessels alike fell victim to treacherous reefs and hurricanes. Even more deadly were the pirates who stalked their prey with abandon until the arrival of the U.S. Navy in 1893. Since then, the Island City has seen the comings and goings of the shipwrecking, cigar, sponging and shrimping industries. Today Key West is filled with their legacies and those of the writers and artists who have called Key West home. From Dynamic Duval Street to the splendid Victorian architecture of Old Town, to the Azure waters, Key West has something for everyone.

Its large, compact structures and large-scale solar greenhouses will occupy only 25 acres of a 4060 acre land preserve, keeping the natural countryside in close proximity to urban dwellers.

Tai Chi Chuan The series of Movements of Tai Chi Chuan comprises the 'open and close' of the arms and legs, the 'void and substaintiality' of steps, the 'continuity' of actions, and the 'softness' of postures. All these obey the definition of the theory of Tai Chi -- 'The unbending breaks while the yielding survives.' This also has two meanings: the promotion of our health belongs to Yin while our self-protection belongs to Yang.

The Global Eco-village Network "We concluded that, more than anything else, the world needed good examples of what it means to live in harmony with nature in a sustainable and spiritually-satisfying way in a technologically-advanced society. Disgruntled mainstreamers needed physical places where they could go to change their lives. Architects and developers needed to see model settlements that could inspire replication."
