Robocop-Related Sites...

Such Interesting Sites Are Out There, And NOW I Can Help You Find Them...

Well, I've searched the web and have found quite a few sites dealing with Robocop, which I have bookmarked, but as yet, I haven't really seen any other sites that list some of them. So I thought, "why not?" So here, I'll archive the sites, type a brief description about each, and also rate them with "tigress's tauruses" ( TM *grin*). One being the lowest rating, and five being the highest. I'm also archiving them by category, so if you're looking for something in particular (what critics have to say about it for instance), the information will be easier to find! Some are even broken-up into smaller sections to aid serching! Also the most well-done sites are listed first. I try to be as unprejudiced as possible by looking for certain things in sites, such as working links, information, effort, etc., so you can get a basic Idea if the site's worth your time. In addition, at the end of each description is either an "SP" or "MP," describing if the site is a single page, or includes multiple pages.

Comprehensive Sites...

1.) Robocop Central GREAT! What more is there to say about possibly the best Robocop site on the web? MP

2.) The Internet Movie Database. TIMDB, is HUGE and I mean HUGE with TONS of great information on thousands of movies. If you need to look something-up, this is the resource to turn to with all sorts of actor-profiles, movie summaries, behind-the-scenes info, bloopers, the list goes on and on! Nicely Laid-out! MP

3.) The Robocop: Alpha Commando Site of Optimus Primal. Well-done site concerning RC: AC is frequently updated with episode synopses and merchandise information and reviews. MP

4.) Kevman's Robocop Shrine Quite a fine site really! LOTS of images and goodies to download, along with links to other Robocop-sites all over the web. MP

5.) Robocop Archive Quite a fine site really! A relatively new site, concerned, predominantly, with images. Eye-candy, yes, and be careful if your computer tends to crash with JAVA, but very nice. Some neat miscellaneous things too! MP

Personal Sites...

1.) A Robocop Page A short page in SPANISH dedicated to Robocop. Basically just an overview with two common graphics. SP

Merchandise / Prop Sites...

Searches

1.) AMAZON.COM Search A HUGE list of titles available from Amazon.com, ranging from books, to soundtracks and movies. Though most appear to be out-of-print, there's still a chance that the titles can be found in back-stock. I've yet to talk with anyone there, so if anybody can or has contacted them to ask, please tell me. MP

2.) Cinemabilia: Film, Music, and TV Search German Search-results for "Roboocop." As far as I know, the soundtracks are all out-of-print, but Cinemabilia may still offer them! I can't tell you as yet because I'm not fluent in German, so it anybody CAN contact them to ask, please inform me. And if you're looking for some nice scans of the covers, VHSs, etc, they some nice JPEGs up. MP

3.) E! Online: Robocop: Justice MéCanique (1994) This site appears to be a fact-sheet for Robocop: Justice MéCanique, but your guess is as good as mine as to what it is. The actors names are those of "Robocop: The Series," yet the title is in Spanish, as is the clickable summary. Yet the episode name is not translatable into any familiar episode name. Maybe there's someone out there who can tell me about this particular film/video, or might know what it is. MP

Items

1.) The Zaritsky Archive Dave Zaritsky's personal site on which he displays his rather LARGE... okay, IMMENSE assortment of Robocop, and many other, sci-fi original props. WOW! i even had the pleasure of meeting-him in pesron in October! *he he* Complete in his authentic Robo-ware, it was GREAT seeing that there are people out there called ''professionals,'' who might actually somewhat "understand" my interests, and share them, etc. *grin*. MP

2.) Robocop III Original Prop Collection A diverse assortment of items from the film, including a letter of authenticity offered for sale here. They are also offering props, etc. from "Coneheads," "Natural Born Killers," and an autograph of Harrison Ford. All I ask is IF you get anything, tell me! I'd LOVE to hear about it! *laughs* Or buy some for me, whatever works! They only have one image of the merchandise, but if you're looking for some nice close-ups of the "Detroit Police" logo, among other things, this is a nice place to start. SP

3.) G-Force Models: Robocop Kit: Auto-9 So you want to have your very own Auto-9 huh? Well, this is just the place to go an order your very own model kit of "LOBO: Auto 9 Air Gun 1/1." Not bad, not bad at all. SP

Gaming Sites...

1.) ZWS.COM Atari ST : Robocop 2 A page describing the basics of "Robocop 2" for the Atari ST platform. It includes game information, level over-views, and 4 screen-shots. SP

1.) The Internet Movie Database. TIMDB, is HUGE and I mean HUGE with TONS of great information on thousands of movies. Recommended reading! MP

4.) Chad'z Movie Page Over 200 new and old films are reviewed here in-depth. Yet another great starting-point for searches. MP

Roboocop Reviews

1.) RoboCop (USA, 1987) A VERY well-done, comprehensive, and in-depth look at almost all aspects of "Robocop." It was done in 1987 by James Kendrick (rated it * * * *). Reposted in the IMDB (The Internet Movie Database). SP

2.) Retrospective: Robocop (1987) A well-done in-depth look at Robocop. Done in 1996 by Randy Parker (rated it * * * ), and a response by Chad Polenz (rated it * * 1/2). Posted as part of The Linköping Science Fiction & Fantasy Archive. SP

Episode Guides...

1.) "Robocop: The Series" episode guide A VERY well-made, and comprehensive guide done by Anthony M. Santomenno, Jr. who is also the master of a Robocop Webring. SP

Miscellaneous Sites...

1.) Hollywood-Unplugged: More Behind-The-Scenes Of Hollywood Magic:  This site doesn't bare worth mentioning really, UNLESS their links go up, which I will report if it ever happens... It advertises a special in which they go "behind-the-scenes of ROBOCOP," among other movies. But all there is now is a rather small image of him, with a BROKEN-link to where they apparently intended to have a movie/preview of the show. Again, don't waste you time, but DO keep a look-out for this show (which I've never actually heard of), on AEN (the "Alternative Entertainment Network," which, again, I've never heard of...). If you know anything about the show, or the staion, please contact me. SP

Just Plain Fun!..

1.) Comic Book Universe Battles, Hall of Fame: Previous Challenges What if comic-book, TV-show, or movie characters had the chance to go one-on-one with other characters, in OTHER comic books, etc.? This is what you'd get! Ren Hoek (from "Ren and Stimpy") vs the "Taco Bell" Chihuahua? Xena vs. Wonder Woman? VERY nicely-done site where there fights are "hosted" and viewers get to write in with their opinions on who will/should win. Then you get an chance to vote, and off you go with a transcript of the fight! You don't ever know who wins until the very end! Quite suspenseful, and always entertaining, this is a definite MUST for any fan out there. Be sure to check-out the match of Issue #66 Robocop vs. Judge Dredd. MP
